Clearwater, SC (located directly behind Mi-Rancho at the corner of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Cherokee Drive). This location is convenient to Aiken, SC, North Augusta, SC and Augusta, GA.

The classes are taught by Johnny Hughes, a 3rd degree black belt and certified Karate For Christ International instructor with over 17 years of continuous training in the martial arts.
At this school, you have to earn belts, not just pay for them.
Belts represent the level of knowledge of a person, nothing more. Belt levels will be awarded after hard work and lots of practice. There are no easy rides at this school.
The instructor tries hard to teach a solid martial arts style that is enjoyable and fun to learn, but more importantly, is a functional self-defense system.
Also, this school does not do any "closed door" training sessions. Parents are always allowed to sit directly in the room with their children and see what is going on and what is being taught. All spectators are expected to act properly and quietly, however.
Kindai Karate is a martial arts style with its roots in Kempo, Shotokai Karate, Japanese Jiu-jitsu, and western boxing. This system covers self-defense, kata (empty hand and weapon), and sparring.
Classes are $30 per month with NO contracts, NO testing fees, and NO associational dues.
